Traditional Food in Malaysia

Malaysia, which consists of various races and cultures. Malaysia is rich in various kinds of food so delicious and tasty. The food is also one of the elements that can unite Malaysians to 1Malaysia.

NASI LEMAK
Nasi lemak is a favorite food for the people of Malaysia especially as breakfast. The name of the title of Nasi Lemak use coconut milk to cook rice. ZONG ZI
Zongzi or so-called Ba Zang is a traditional Chinese food made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves and steamed sertu and hung to dry. Zongzi is usually served on festive tradition cun or the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the 5th day of the 5th month of the Lunar calendar to commemorate the death of Qu Yuan, a poet of the Chu kingdom. According to legend, Qu Yuan failed to commemorate the emperor and court officials to put an end to the civil war that was going on at the time. Qu Yuan then make a poem that contains sorrow and concern over the war in their homeland. After the poem was finished, he jumped into the Miluo River. People tried to save him by throwing packets of rice in order to feed the fish so they would not eat Qu Yuan's body. Well, the packages of rice was then known as Zongzi or Ba Zang. which is celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th month of the Lunar calendar.
